‘A Vision’ is an exhibition by local group Mindscapes.

Mindscapes are a local mental health peer support group. They use their lived experience to help support  individuals, helping with building self-esteem, social confidence, confidence and resilience. They also also help towards beating isolation and tackling loneliness.

The group uses the creative medium of photography to help people with their mental health. When you start looking  at the world through a lens you can start to see the world in a different  light and you start to see the beauty all around.

The exhibition  of A Vision is about building  confidence in our members, to show that despite our struggles you can achieve great things. Some of the images are mental health reflection while others are there own individual vision of what  images they have taken to show what can be achieved with the belief and support  from others.

The group was founded July 2022 to give instant peer support and are based at the DVA hub at low pavements. The group runs every  Tuesday, 10 am To 1pm.

The exhibition will be open to the public from 3rd - 21st June. Please call ahead of your visit as part of the exhibition may be closed at times due to other events taking place at the centre.
