Monthly Edit - November
Here it is, our Monthly Edit for November! And now that Halloween is over, I can say….CHRISTMAS IS COMING!
I have put together some of our best items for gift ideas for you to get for your beloveds or… for you to hint dramatically at the fact you ‘need’ Father Christmas to bring you these beautiful things. I’m sure you’re on the Nice List.
First up, we have this very cute Petit Booche Zodiac Banner for those Christmas babies. This particular constellation is Sagittarius but we have the other eleven star signs in stock too.
Petit Booche is a West Studios tenant and I have it on good authority that he’ll be bringing some super-cute Christmas decorations into the Gallery Shop soon so watch this space!
Coming forwards, we have a framed print on cloth by Matthew Loades called ‘Plastic Fantastic’. This iconic little brick will be a hit with many people, young and old.
Just in front of this print, peeping out is another iconic toy. Little Pig Jewellery Design has recreated their homage to those little ponies that so many of us loved as littleuns. This time is it in a striking monochromatic colourway.
Slightly to the left, looking all wistful is a beautiful Beth Cartwright creation.
Beth’s work is whimsical and delicate, with an edge. This elephant has inlaid, metal tusks. I wonder what he is thinking about? Maybe that great Death By Tea mug sitting next to him?
The pen shown next to the mug is by David Grzona. This particular piece is made from a hand-turned resin ‘stone’ giving it a great weight and feel whilst writing with it. We also have hand-turned wood pens in stock - they’re really beautiful.
Along to the right is a decorative ‘mug’ from Drawn and Fired.
Drawn and Fired is another of our tenant artists. This piece is an example of Mishima Slip Inlay depicting a skull. The effect when you look at it in real life is really interesting.
In the background we can just see Designate’s clock.
Up-cycled from an old scaffolding board, this clock tells a story as well as the time. It’s bumps and dents are all from it’s life of work and a little detail I just spotted today is the ‘Deborah’ imprinted on it! Perfect for any Deborah’s out there!
You’ll also have noticed little Christmas decorations by Emma Lewis. Perfect for brightening up your tree!
All these items, plus many more, are available in our Gallery Shop. If you’d like any of these items reserved for you to come in to collect, please call us or drop us a line as a lot of them are one-off’s. Our email is firstname.lastname@example.org and our phone number is (01246)500799.
Don’t forget that we also have our Christmas event coming up on the 1st December - click here for details!
The prints in the background of the Edit are by Craig Titley. ‘I Made You A Mixtape’ and ‘You Light Up My Life’ are available in many varying depictions, in our shop. Very striking and original.
